Khanh Dinh, Ed.D.

Founder & Board Chair

As a product of the public school system, Khanh founded Scholarship Stewards on the belief that education can remain an equalizer if we have the courage to plant trees whose shade we may never sit under. She has a decade of leadership experience in public administration and has taught for the College of Education at Sacramento State, supervised doctoral research, and published scholarship on diversity leadership. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership and an MBA.

Allan Dang, Esq.

General Counsel

Allan Dang is an attorney specializing in international corporate tax and cross border m&a. He currently serves as a tax manager at Trimble inc. and previously worked at EY and Andersen advising large multinational corporations on international and domestic tax issues. He holds a Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from Loyola Law School.

Karim Sabuwalla, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Karim Sabuwalla has over a decade of experience in financial management and corporate accounting. He currently serves as Controller at Pepper and previously held leadership roles at Seesaw Learning, where he oversaw financial operations for an education technology platform used by schools worldwide.

Jade Tran

Chief Technology Officer

Jade Tran is a software engineer with experience building large-scale web platforms and digital infrastructure across the technology sector. She currently works as a product-focused engineer, designing and developing reliable systems and user-facing applications.

Ann Veu, Ed.D.

Director of Educational Partnerships

Ann Veu is the founder of Root and Resonance Collective, a consulting practice focused on strengthening professional learning communities and supporting educator well-being. She has more than two decades of experience as a teacher, principal, and district administrator in the California public school system. She holds both a master’s degree and doctorate in educational leadership.

Ashleigh Pane, Ed.D.

Director of Literacy Strategy

Ashleigh Pane is an educator with nearly two decades of experience teaching English in California public schools. She has also taught in collegiate teacher preparation programs, mentoring future educators. Her research focuses on expanding the literary canon to reflect the experiences of today’s students. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership and master’s degree in education.

Margaret Hwang, Ed.D.

Director of Program Strategy

Margaret Hwang is an education leader with extensive experience in higher education administration and organizational operations. Margaret currently serves as Chief of Operations at Sacramento State. She holds both a doctorate in educational leadership and an MBA.
